Sunday School and Confirmation Policy
.Students will be required to attend Sunday School a minimum of 75% of the Sunday School classes and worship services each year from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. An attendance record for each student will be kept from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Those attending confirmation classes are also required to attend worship services and confirmation classes faithfully. Those unable to attend a class are asked to excuse themselves to the pastor by phone prior to the class.
.In order for a student to avoid being marked absent, the parents must give excuse to the teacher by phone prior to the class.
.Students will be expected to know their memory work each week and to have completed any assignments made.
.If any student fails to complete an assignment for two consecutive weeks and is not making a reasonable effort to learn his or her homework, the teacher will contact the parents to let them know the situation and how to deal with it. If things do not improve, the pastor may be called to help.
.Attendance at Sunday School in accord with the above guidelines will be considered necessary for any student to be confirmed. Failure to do so will make it necessary for the student to attend confirmation class beyond the 8th Grade before the student will be confirmed.
